Faith Livestock Commission Company, Faith, SD
This week: 486 Last Sale: 445 Year ago: No Sale
No trend on feeder cattle due to light receipts. Slaughter cows and
bulls sold 2.00-3.00 higher than two weeks ago. Today's receipts
about 33 percent slaughter cows; 26 percent females back to the
country; 22 percent pairs; 9 percent fall calving cows; 5 percent
feeder cattle; 3 percent slaughter bulls and the balance was feeder
bulls and baby calves. Next auction will be Monday June 21, 2004
and will be a feeder cattle special. The number will depend on the
weather. If it stays dry there could be 1500-2000 head plus
weigh-up cattle.
